Swedish massage

Swedish Massage

The most common type of massage therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This may also be combined with movement of the joints. These techniques can also be used with deep or light tissue pressure and is also the style used in prenatal massage. By relieving muscle tension, this therapy can be both relaxing and energizing.

Prenatal Massage

General Swedish Massage techniques tailored to all precautions and comforts required for safe and effective prenatal care. Reduce swelling and pain, improve sleep; restful and relaxing.

champissage-min

Champissage

Champissage, or Indian/Indie Head Massage, covers the upper back, shoulders, neck, head and face.
It is an ancient, Ayurvedic form of head massage that focuses on releasing tension and pain, as well as energy blocks. It combines the use of hot towels and hot oil for a decadent and deeply relaxing experience.
reflexology

Foot Reflexology

A natural therapy that benefits not only the physical body but also the mind, the emotions and the whole being. It works via massage techniques to the feet to help rebalance the whole person, improving presenting symptoms. The treatment is deeply relaxing as well as energizing.

cupping

Cupping

A modality of Chinese Medicine, this treatment can be combined with Swedish Massage for extra benefits of releasing restricted fascia  or connective tissue, chronic muscle tension, and for increasing blood and oxygen to specific areas to encourage healing.
